The High Holidays are coming, and we have an incredible array of options for you to celebrate in the way you feel most comfortable and secure...  Mix & Match to create your own custom holiday experience!

This year, the first day of Rosh Hashanah is on Shabbat, so we only blow the Shofar on the second day.

 

Here are all of the options you will be able to choose from this year. Read the list over once so you can easily fill out the form.

Now for the details:

1. "Rosh Hashana at My Home" Options:
  • Borrow a R.H. Machzor + One-Page Important Prayers Guide (with token deposit)
  • "Full Service" Prayer Box (includes everything you need to "be your own family rabbi" and conduct a service at home!)
  • Street Visit from the Rabbi + Shofar Blasts (2nd Day Only)
  • Rosh Hashana Dinner Box
2. Rosh Hashana at Shul:

Seats are very limited at Shul to follow physical distancing guidelines, and masks must be worn at all times.

First come first serve - reservation required.

  • R.H. Seat, Both Days: $36 / Seat
    • Subsidies available for those in financial need
3. Rosh Hashana at the Park:

On the second day of R.H. (Sunday Sept. 20th), we will be hosting Shofar in the Park at 3 different locations in NDG.

  • NDG (Girouard) Park
  • Somerled Park
  • Trenholme Park

Register (free!) to let us know you're coming - it helps us bring the correct amount of supplies.

At the park (outdoors), masks are optional but distancing is required between families during the ceremony.

4. Yom Kippur in the Tent:

Chabad NDG will be putting up a very large (60-foot) tent for the 24 hours of Yom Kippur (at a parking lot corner Belgrave & De Maisonneuve).

Seats will be placed precisely to follow physical distancing guidelines, and with open walls in the outdoor environment, masks will be optional.

Seats are limited - first come first serve (36$ / Seat), and reservation is required. (Subsidies available for those in financial need).
